Child-friendly, social landscape and technological features will be the main differentiators of these open spaces meant to connect the local communities. Children’s play area, e-toilets, splash parks, open gyms, watch towers, butterfly parks, sensory gardens, half-basketball court, water ATMs, Wi-Fi and informative variable signage systems will be available here. These parks shall be universally inclusive to serve as learning and recreation centers for all age groups. The three parks selected for this initiative are located in Sahid Nagar. These are the park district near Bhawani Mall (four small parks), BDA-OMC Park and a small community garden near Sparsh Hospital. The project will entail a cost of Rs 1.80 crore and is expected to be executed completely in six months.
