It will serve as a connect between the existing and upcoming start-ups, incubators and angel networks, as they would all get registered in the web portal. All revised provisions of Odisha start-up policy will be available on the portal. Officially there are 225 start-ups and 24 incubation centres in Odisha. The Odisha Start-up Policy provides for a financial assistance of Rs 20,000 per month for one year to budding entrepreneurs. Additionally, a product development assistance of up to Rs 15 lakh and need-based raw material assistance is also given. On the other hand incubation centres are entitled to capital investment subsidy up to 50% and up to one crore. A matching grant of equal amount to set up incubation centres to organisations, institutions and industry bodies will be provided by the government.
