State government gives nod for three industrial park projects
Odisha government clears proposals to set up three private industrial parks involving an investment of Rs 1640 crore giving rise to around 7900 jobs. The first project is of Gitanjali Infratech Limited. Its Detail Project Report (DPR) for setting up gems, jewelry, lifestyle and luxury goods park at Ramdaspur in Cuttack got the final nod. The project will spread on 100 acres entailing a budget of Rs 636 crore. The next proposal considered was of Jindal Stainless Steel Limited with a budget of Rs 704 crore to come up at downstream stainless steel park at Kalinganagar in Jajpur. The third project which got the approval is of Welspon Odisha Steel Private Limited for a food processing, warehouse and electrical equipment park. Entailing a budget of Rs 300 crore the project would come up over 175 acres of land at Dosinga and Chainipahi villages near Dhamara port in Bhadrak district.
