Workshop in Bhubaneswar to prepare livability index
Bhubaneswar and Rourkela are the two cities chosen by the ministry of urban development for livability standard assessment along with 116 other smart cities across the country. Centre has employed a consortium to conduct workshops in several cities to educate government agencies on measures to assess the parameters, one such being organised in Bhubaneswar on 15th this month. Livability index will be prepared on the basis of city' availability of roads, education and health care, mobility, employment opportunities, emergency response, grievance redress, pollution, availability of open and green spaces and cultural and entertainment opportunities by taking inputs from stake holders.
