Indianapolis becomes smart while focusing on smart water
Global Water Technologies, Indianapolis has claimed to be one of the five winners in the White House Commitment: Smart Cities Council Challenge Grants. Apart from Indianapolis, Philadelphia is among the two winning cities to have focused on smart water management. Earlier Indianapolis and Austin were among the two cities selected by the telecommunications giant AT&T for its new 5G wireless network. Under this, the transmission of data will be possible at peak speeds of 400 megabits per second, which would be around 20 times faster than the current 4G LTE speeds. The Indianapolis is steadily marching towards becoming smart.
