Puri temple repair gains PM’s attention
As the proposal by an expert committee to repair the cracked structure of Jagmohan, a part of Puri Jagannath temple got rejected by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Chief minister Naveen Patnaik showed his disapproval on the callous attitude of ASI & solicited for the attention of Prime minister Narendra Modi in this regard. In his appeal, the CM showed his apprehension on the security of the devotees as well as the conservation of the 12th century shrine being the pride of the state.
