Paramotoring facility now available in smart city BBSR
The new paramotoring facility has been inaugurated at Jatni, where adventure lovers can enjoy short flying trips to get an aerial view. This first-of-its-kind fun ride in the state is another attraction for tourists. Response from people has been spectacular as the locals of the capital city have not experienced paramotoring in their neighbourhood. This easy and safe form of powered aviation involves a paramotor, a small aircraft where two engines are attached along with a paraglider wing and a parachute. The paramotor can fly at a speed of 30 to 50 km per hour depending on the direction and speed of wind at a height ranging between 200 feet to 18,000 feet height. It can take off and land at any place and can fly for three hours with ten-liters of fuel. A place in front of Barunei hills has been chosen for the paramount activitiy as it cannot be conducted within the city due to power lines, high rises and aviation rules. The organizers have acquired the permission from Airport Authority of India, Commissionerate police and local administration to conduct the paramotoring facility for one year period.
