Transportation
Learner's license is just a click away
People need not run around the regional transport offices (RTOs) to obtain their learner's license (LL). The transport department has taken up a decision to launch an online system in which applicants can download the LL copy from a dedicated web portal of the ministry of road transport and highways. To ensure transparency and prevent duplicity, the computer-generated LL will have a QR (quick response) code. Eventually, the LL holders are supposed to undergo an actual driving test within six months and get driving license (DL), which is dispatched to the houses of applicants by the RTOs.
