Dedicated township for Japanese investors to come up near Indore
Japanese investment facilitators are planning to build a township near Indore, Madhya Pradesh, which will serve as an industrial and social infrastructure for Japanese investors. Investment will flow from Japanese IT firms and electric vehicle manufacturers also keen to invest in urban development and transport sectors. India Japan Partnership Fund director, Sanjeev Sinha, confirmed that the stakeholders have had discussions with chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the same and the process of identification of location in the vicinity of Indore has been initiated. He said, “Dedicated human resource development centers should be built in India to help Japan-assisted infrastructure projects as well as dedicated holistic eco-systems, including financial, industrial and life style aspects, for Japanese corporates to work in India.”
